Obra Insurance Special Situations Team Closes Fourth Reinsurance Transaction

On June 30, 2023, the Obra Insurance Special Situations team closed its fourth collateralized reinsurance transaction. The reinsured business is comprised of workers’ compensation, general liability, commercial auto and private passenger auto insurance policies originated by a diverse group of managing general agents and issued by a leading U.S. fronting carrier. In addition to providing reinsurance, the Obra Structured Credit team will manage the associated assets supporting these liabilities.
